Visit of Austrian students to the Marianao Institute

From the 8th to 12th May, we were visited by a group of 27 and 4 Austrian teachers. The visit was organized within the framework of the KA121 Erasmus project and different activities were carried out, so the VET Mechanization students mainly, but also the Trade and IT VET students could interact with the VET Austrian students and develop challenges such as -The Solid Works Challenge-.

Companies were also visited such as the SEAT Technical Center, The Colònia Güell, Damm, and the Sagrada Família.

As a closing of the collaboration for this scholar yera, the Mayor of the Sant Boi City Council, Lluïsa Moret i Sabidó and the Councilor for Education Alba Martínez Vélez welcomed us to have a small talk about what the city of Sant Boi has to offer and thank the Austrian center for visiting the city.

We are especially grateful for the collaboration of the Sant Boi Town Hall and also of the professionals of the SEAT Technical Center who guided and described in great detail the tasks carried out in the Technical Center and which were of particular interest to the Austrian students and teachers.
